For us at Multi-Fish, seafood is a true passion. Our colleagues are dedicated to their profession and to the products.  We are thankful and privileged being able to work with food that predominantly comes straight from nature. Every piece of fish is being handled with respect, when it is touched by the hands of our skilled people. We, at Multi-Fish, aim to offer our customers high-quality products with clear and correct specifications, at an honest price level and with respect for the environment. 

To achieve this goal, our purchase managers in Belgium and Iceland buy directly from the origin and through fish auctions, and are able to count on the cooperation of carefully selected logistic partners.  The work of our internal quality department and our own inspectors stationed in different countries of origin provide us with a very solid guarantee of quality.

To support the sustainability of our sourcing, we offer a variety of MSC– and ASC-certified species. Apart from that, our assortment also includes a number of bio-certified articles.

Finally, our company is also IFS-certified, and we are one of the few establishments in Belgium which have a US FDA approval for exports to the United States.

Our finished and pre-packed products, which are sourced, handled and transported with the ultimate care, are being rewarded with one of our quality FISKER-brands.

Quality

Each day, we handle the challenges we are facing in our industry, with great enthousiasm. We set out to buy the best and freshest products, which we process according to the most stringent exisiting quality criteria (we are IFS certified). In order to serve you without any difficulties, we keep an extensive stock programme, of course without jeopardising the freshness of the products. On top of that, we are MSC and ASC certified, which means we offer you the best sustainable fish and seafood.

Worldwide integration of quality standards is a fact

Multi-Fish has recently invested in the expansion of its worldwide network of own staff and local partners in the most important countries of origin. This was an essential step towards the harmonisation of product specifications and compliance with quality standards set by our own quality department in Belgium.

Whether it is China, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh or India, everywhere our finished products are screened according to the same system, relying on the same parameters in order to ensure that customers get the same product guarantees, regardless of their origin.

At the same time, and thanks to our global structure and the fast interaction with our people on the spot, we are capable of organizing product development, creating new product presentations and packaging in an efficient way. Custom-made products are therefore also amongst the variety of possibilities.

Our history

Multi-Fish started off as a supplier and processor of fresh fish at the Zeebrugge fish auction. In a later stage several types of frozen fish and shellfish were added to the product range, and our team was strengthened by a number of highly experienced people.

In 2013, Multi-Fish moved to a modern, larger location in Blankenberge. The company was evolved into a manufacturer, an importer and a distributor of a fine selection of fish and shellfish sourced from around the world.  From whole North-Sea Dover soles to a multi-component dim sum assortment, we can offer our clients the complete range.

Our products and service are mainly focused on whole­sale companies, retailers, foodservice companies and industrial reprocessors, both in Belgium as well as abroad.
